Privacy Policy

1. Data controller
The data controller is the owner of the website isignyourdoc.com, operating under the trade name iSignYourDocuments. Contact: info@isignyourdoc.com. Full identification details are provided on request.
2. What data we process
The documents you upload and the signatures added to them; the email addresses you optionally enter when generating a link; and basic technical data (IP address, browser type) inherent to any online service.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Solely to provide the service you request: processing the document, enabling its signature and making it available through the generated link (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). Technical data is processed under legitimate interest in site security (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Advertising relies on your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
4. Retention
Documents and signing links are automatically deleted after 7 days. Download your signed copies before then. If you sign on your own device without generating a link, the document never leaves your browser.
5. Where data is stored
Documents are stored with Supabase (infrastructure in the European Union) and the site is served by Netlify. Access is via a link with a random, unguessable identifier: anyone holding the exact link can access the document during those 7 days, so share links only with the people who must sign.
6. Cookies and advertising
This site uses no first-party tracking cookies. We display Google AdSense ads, which may use cookies or identifiers to personalise and measure advertising. Visitors from the European Economic Area are shown a consent notice where they can accept, reject or configure this use. See Google policy.
7. Sharing
We do not sell or transfer your data. Only the essential technical providers named above are involved.
8. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to info@isignyourdoc.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
9. Minors
The service is not directed at children under 14.
10. User accounts and saved signatures
Creating an account is optional: you can keep signing documents without registering, exactly as before. If you do register, we process your email address, your name (the one you type, or the one Google or Microsoft provides if you sign in with them) and the signatures you save in your library, together with the name you give them.
A handwritten signature is particularly sensitive personal data, so it is stored linked to your account only and no other user can access it. This restriction is enforced in the database itself, not just in the website.
Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) in encrypted form: we neither see them nor can we recover them. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, your password never reaches our systems.
Retention: your account data and saved signatures are kept for as long as the account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Account settings in your dashboard: this immediately and irreversibly erases your account and all your saved signatures. You can also delete individual signatures one by one.
Legal basis: performance of the requested service (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page.
