Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
1. The service
iSignYourDocuments lets you upload documents (PDF, Word or images), add a signature and create a link so another person can sign from any device. The service is free and funded by advertising.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to upload only documents you own or are entitled to manage; not to use the service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes or to impersonate another person identity or signature; and not to attempt to compromise the service. Signing on someone else behalf without authorisation may constitute a criminal offence.
3. Nature of the signature
Signatures produced here are simple electronic signatures under the EU eIDAS Regulation. They are widely used and may have legal effect, but they are not equivalent to a qualified electronic signature (such as one made with a digital certificate). It is your responsibility to assess whether a simple electronic signature is adequate for your case. iSignYourDocuments does not provide legal advice.
4. Expiry
Signing links and their documents expire and are deleted after 7 days. Downloading and keeping the signed copies within that period is your responsibility. This service is not a document archive or custody system.
5. Access links
Anyone holding the exact link can access the document while it is valid. Share it only with those who must sign.
6. Availability
The service is provided as is, without warranty of uninterrupted availability or absence of errors. We may modify, suspend or discontinue it at any time.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, iSignYourDocuments is not liable for damages arising from use of the service, including loss of documents not downloaded within 7 days, misuse of links shared by users, or the legal suitability of a signature for a given purpose. The user is solely responsible for the content of uploaded documents.
8. Intellectual property
The brand, logo and design belong to their owner. Uploaded documents belong to their respective owners.
9. Privacy
Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law.
