Electronic signature for physiotherapists and clinics

The patient signs the informed consent and the data protection notice before the first appointment, from their phone, and pays the pack if there is one. In the clinic you no longer lose ten minutes with paperwork.

What you sign

How you do it with iSignYourDocuments

  1. Prepare your consent forms as templates Upload each consent as a PDF with the clinic logo and mark where the patient signs. Save them as company templates.
  2. Send them when booking By WhatsApp or email, with the pack to pay if applicable. The patient signs from their phone before coming.
  3. First appointment without paperwork Consent and data signed in your dashboard, encrypted, to download into the patient record.

Why it fits

Consent signed before the appointment

With date, time and audit trail. What patient-rights law requires, without a printer.

Encrypted health data

In transit and at rest, servers in the EU. Automatic deletion and under your control.

Several documents in one link

Consent, data protection and questionnaire, one signature per document.

Pack paid on signing

1% fee, money in the clinic’s Stripe account.

Patient-rights laws across Europe require informed consent, in writing for invasive or risky procedures; a simple electronic signature meets the written-form requirement and records date and time. Health data is a special category under GDPR (art. 9) and requires explicit consent and reinforced measures: encrypted documents, automatic deletion and access limited to the practitioner. Keep patient records for the periods your jurisdiction requires.

Do you send documents for signature often?

With Pro: unlimited sends, several signers, reminders, your logo and name on every send, and documents kept for 12 months. €4.99/month, cancel anytime. Create your account to try it free for 7 days — without Pro you still get 3 free sends a month.

Frequently asked questions

Is an informed consent signed from a phone valid?

Yes. The law asks for written form; the electronic signature meets it and also records the patient’s date, time, email and IP. Download the PDF and file it in the patient record.

Is it safe for health data?

Documents are encrypted and stored on servers in the EU; they are deleted after 7 days (free) or 12 months (Pro) and you can remove them earlier. The clinic is the data controller and we act as processor.

Can the patient fill in the history on their phone?

Yes. Add text fields when marking the PDF and the patient completes them before signing.

Can I charge for the pack on signing?

Yes, with "Get paid on signing". The patient pays by card after signing and the amount reaches the clinic’s Stripe account.
