Electronic signature for freelancers and the self-employed
The job starts when the quote is signed, not when "they confirmed it on the phone". Send the quote or contract, have it signed from a phone and, if you like, collect the deposit in the same step.
What you sign
- Quote and service agreement Scope, deadlines, price, payment terms and what happens with changes. Our template puts both in one document.
- Non-disclosure agreement (NDA) When a client shares sensitive information before hiring you.
- Collaboration agreement With other freelancers to split a project: who does what and who invoices.
- Payment receipt Proof that you received a deposit or a cash payment.
- Termination agreement To close a collaboration in writing with no loose ends.
How you do it with iSignYourDocuments
- Fill in the template or upload your PDF In two minutes you have the quote + agreement with your details, or you upload the one you already use with your logo.
- Send the link to the client By WhatsApp, email or QR. If you ask for a deposit, tick "Collect a deposit on signing" and enter the amount.
- Signed and, if applicable, paid The client signs on their phone without creating an account. You receive the signed PDF and the payment notice; the document stays in your dashboard.
Why it fits
No accounts for your client
They open the link and sign. No sign-up, no apps, no printing.
Quotes that don’t go cold
Automatic reminders every two days to anyone who hasn’t signed (Pro) and a "Remind" button in your dashboard.
Collect the deposit on signing
A 1% fee and the money straight into your Stripe account. No chasing bank transfers.
Everything in one dashboard
Pending, signed, this month’s payments and your company templates in one place.
Legal validity
Between businesses and with consumers, a service agreement signed electronically is fully valid in the EU (eIDAS), the UK and the US (ESIGN/UETA). If a client disputes the job, the signed document with timestamp and audit trail is the evidence you need. You still need to issue your invoice: the contract does not replace it.
With Pro: unlimited sends, several signers, reminders, your logo and name on every send, and documents kept for 12 months. €4.99/month, cancel anytime. Create your account to try it free for 7 days — without Pro you still get 3 free sends a month.
Frequently asked questions
Does a quote signed by the client protect me?
Yes. An accepted and signed quote is a contract: it fixes the scope and the price. That is why our template combines the quote and the service terms in one document.
What if the client has no email or doesn’t check it?
Send the link by WhatsApp or show them the QR code in person. The link is the same and the signature is just as valid.
Can I add my logo and name?
With Pro, the link, the signing page and the emails carry your logo and business name. And on any plan you can upload your own PDF with your letterhead.
Is it really free?
Signing for yourself is free with no limit. Sending for signature: 3 sends a month free; if you need more, €2.49 per single send or Pro at €4.99/month.
