Legal validity
Short-term and holiday rentals are governed by the agreement and local tourism rules; the agreement and house rules are valid with a simple electronic signature. Many countries require hosts to collect and report certain guest details to the authorities: you can collect them in the signed document, but the official reporting is done by you. Handle that data under GDPR or your local privacy law.

Can I collect the security deposit when the agreement is signed?
Yes. Tick "Collect a deposit on signing" with the deposit; the guest pays by card after signing and, if there is no damage, you refund it from your Stripe dashboard.
Does it work for guest registration?
You can collect each guest’s details with fields in the document and have it signed. The official reporting to the authorities remains your responsibility.
Does it work if the booking comes from Airbnb or Booking?
Yes. The agreement and house rules are yours and are signed separately; payment for the stay remains on the platform. For the deposit, check the platform’s terms.
Can a foreign guest sign?
Yes. The signing page is available in English, Spanish and French, and the signature is valid across the EU.
